How to use Kindle DRM Removal to remove drm from azw/prc on Kindle for PC.
1. Authorize your copy of Kindle for PC and "Sync and check for new items".
Install Kindle for PC and authorize your copy.
Download v1.1.1 here: KindleForPC-installer_v1.1.1.exe.
Download v1.4.1 here: KindleForPC-installer_v1.4.1.exe.
Here is currently no way to remove DRM on books downloaded using 1.5.0. However, there is a simple workaround that involves downgrading to 1.4.1. Uninstall the new version of Kindle for PC, download the old version, and install it. Note that you will probably have to manually delete and re-download all your books after downgrading.
2: Load Kindle eBooks.
View the book in Kindle for PC. (in other words, make sure it is downloaded to your computer, not in “Archived Items”)
3. Run Kindle Drm Removal to remove drm from kindle(azw,prc).
A dialog windows will pop up :
Browse for input directory, default as "..\My Documents\My Kindle Content\".
Input files
Click on the "browse" button to choose your Kindle ebook / input folder. You'll find it in "My Documents\My Kindle Content".
If you can't find the kindle ebook, open Kindle for PC, then find Tools-->Options-->Content, you will see the kindle ebooks folder.
Click "unDrm directory", then remove drm from kindle files in the whole folder.
Open your newly created DRM-free kindle file with your favorite application (on whatever device you like). You can use the most professional eBooks Converter software Calibre to convert and manage your ebooks.
